Wind Sensors

By mounting the sensor to the front bar of the awning, the Eolis 3D wire-free RTS Wind Sensor takes action automatically. When wind-generated movement exceeds the preset threshold, it triggers the automatic retraction of the awning. Somfy patented technology operates on batteries.

Gears

Geiger proudly emphasizes the highest standard of quality and ensures it through their “100% made by Geiger” guarantee. This guarantee means that Geiger produces every component in their gears, including every nut, bolt, and screw, in-house.

Combining the spherical hook with the patented round eye simplifies and smoothes the operation of the awning, prevents abrasion, and enables its use at any angle, extending beyond the direct below position. The bevel gear design provides the advantage of utilizing the entire circumference of the gear to turn the awning.
